Dialogue

dialogue

Dialogue lies at the heart of our project and is one of our key research methods. Our collaboration grew out of conversations which began in person and then moved online following the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020. Finding ways to make time and space – both in person and online – to engage in dialogue around the project’s research themes and questions has been a priority ever since.

In addition to occasional public conversation events, we have developed an annual programme of online collective dialogues, shared by small groups of artists and academic researchers and conducted without an audience in order to encourage exchange without the pressure of public performance. We also hold annual study residencies with an invited group of around 15 artists and academics.
